WITH RETREATS FOR STUDENTS IN YEAR 3 TO SIXTH FORM, OVERNIGHT RETREATS OFFER SO MANY OPPORTUNITIES FOR SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES TO EXPLORE THEIR FAITH WITH OUR ONSITE INTERNATIONAL LASALLIAN COMMUNITY.
We offer varied lengths of retreat, from day retreats (click here) to 48hr, 72hr and four day retreats there is something to suit every school. A typical retreat lasts four days, either Monday to Thursday or Thursday to Sunday.
Retreats aim to meet young people where they are; providing them with the space to breathe, identify what really matters to them and encounter God. Each retreat is a journey with its own theme encouraging students to develop their Awareness, experience Reconciliation and discover the Good News.
As with outreach and online retreats, general themes rooted in our faith, Lasallian values and Catholic Social Teaching, are according to their year group and these can be found below.

We usually operate two retreats each week during term-time:
One begins with supper at 6.30 pm on Monday and ends at approximately 11.30 am on Thursday; the other begins at 6.30 pm on Thursday and ends at approximately 11.30 am on Sunday.
The hope for our retreat programme is that it will help students:
- get to know and understand themselves better, to increase their self-esteem and confidence;
- to make new friends with students from the other schools that will be here with you;
- to appreciate more the place of God in our world and in their lives; celebrating our faith together.
We can accommodate about 60 students and their accompanying staff. We consider a mix of schools to be an important part of the retreat, we offer approximately 12 places to each of the four/five schools that are invited to attended together. There are, however, exceptions to this and we aim to meet your requirements wherever possible, so please contact us if you would like to arrange something slightly different.
We request that accompanying adults undertake the supervision of their students during the retreats, particularly at night and to have some pastoral care of them. To fulfil safeguarding policies, it is therefore essential for the adults to reflect the male-female balance of the students.
COSTS
The cost for a normal four day programme is £160 per student, with two accompanying staff staying free of charge.
Alternative retreats will be costed according to their length.
