So we asked people who have been on retreat here, what they enjoyed about the St. Cassian's programme, they said: 
  • "I love it, how we all come here with worries, but we always have someone to talk to, ​              then we see people leaving here with the biggest smile on their face" 
  • "The team are so fun, it just feels like a family"
  • "People are never judged here, they are just loved" 
  • "Everything we do is just so much fun!"
  • "I always love how relatable the team presentations are"
  • "I enjoy how the quiet time gives a clear space for people to think"
  • "The food" 
  • "I love how I have a safe space to practice my faith"

Over the month of September our team have been going through their initial team training. 

Our team are now all trained in:
  • Lasallian Spirituality
  • First Aid 
  • Fire Marshal 
  • Safeguarding 
  • Youth Ministry 
  • Music Ministry
  • Public speaking 
  • Leadership 
  • Many, many other bits of goodness! 

Now comes the amazing time where we get to see it all put into practice!

Each year we, as Lasallians, have a month in which we focus on promoting prayer and peace.
In 2017 we are focusing on the theme of
Peace Without Limits.
The month runs from September 21st to October 21st. This poster was designed by a student from Greece.

The International Lasallian Days for Peace is often abbreviated to ILDP and it is an initiative of the International Council of Young Lasallians. Their aim is for all Lasallians to participate as much as possible during this month to help promote campaign and minister for peace.
 
As Lasallians we are invited to pray for peace - within ourselves, in our families and communities and in the world. It is a theme that becomes more relevant each year.
 
At this very moment, news from various parts of the world remind us how urgent the need for peace is and how important it is for us to work for peace - starting in our inner circles and reaching out when opportunities to be peacemakers present themselves.
