Our MissionSt. Cassian’s is a safe and welcoming place for young people, where they can take time to reflect on their lives, with Christ as their Guide and St. John Baptist de la Salle as their inspiration. |
|
St Cassian’s Centre is located in Kintbury, West Berkshire.
The centre is surrounded by beautiful Berkshire countryside and wildlife.
During your stay, we hope you feel welcome and at home at the Centre. Our invitation for you is to join our community while you are here. The standard retreat programme follows the themes of Welcome, Awareness, Reconciliation and Good News. These themes were developed by Brother Damian Lundy FSC, who was the main inspiration behind the Centre, alongside Brother Dominic Green FSC and Brother Joe Hendron FSC, when it opened in 1975.
|
The centre is owned by the De La Salle Trustees and we are very fortunate to have a De La Salle Brother who lives within our community, Brother Bernard.
The team is made up of four permanent retreat team staff; Emma, Sara, Igor & Francis who coordinate the retreats. We then have a volunteer team which changes every year and consists of mainly gap year students who join before or after attending university. |
