In 2017, St. Cassian's starting working in partnership with CAFOD Step Into the Gap programme.

Take your volunteer experience even further by joining CAFOD’s Step into the Gap young leadership programme. You will have the opportunity for to gain experience, develop leadership skills and spend a year in the service of others. This will allow you to inspire a generation of people to act for the poorest and most marginalised.
The programme includes an opportunity to personally encounter CAFOD partners and the communities they work with overseas. Through this partnership you will be empowered to share your unique CAFOD experience to enrich your Kintbury community, and your ministry. Past gappers have used their formation and experience to create online resources, workshops, prayers and sessions.
CAFOD believes in equipping and inspiring young adult leaders to be able to contribute to a more just and peaceful world.
